The Accommodation is a 2 bedroom chalet located on the Bermuda holiday complex in Newport Road Hembsy, the chalet has laminate wooden flooring through out , the lounge area consists of a leather sofa and armchair and a table and four chairs, there is also a TV with freeview with video DVD and cd player and various DVD's for your entertainment,
The kitchen is a modern kitchen with fitted units and worktops, amenities in the kitchen include electric kettle,toaster,microwave, electric cooker,all pots and various pans,and iron and board and not to mention a washing machine.
New for 2008 is a newly fitted bathroom and shower and sink.
Bedroom 1 has a very comfortable double bed with built in wardrobe and bedside unit with drawers.
Bedroom 2 has some very modern and large bunk beds and of course built in wardrobes, there is also a guest bed in bedroom 2 so as to accommodate 5 people easily in the chalet, bedroom 2 also has some very pretty stencils on the walls making the children feel comfortable in their surroundings you will also find various children's toys and games for their entertainment.
The chalet is filly double glazed and all bedrooms and bathrooms have recently been modernized in a total refit, The chalet is used by the owners and their children on a regular basis so you will find extras on this holiday that you might not find in your average run of the mill chalets making your stay that little bit more comfortable, If your looking for a homely clean children's orientated break you won't do much better than choosing a broadland escapes Holiday
Broadland Escapes site their chalet's on The Bermuda Chalet Park which is situated on the Newport road which runs parallel with Beach Road, Hemsby. This park offers many amenities including a 400 seater clubhouse which features live entertainment during the main season, heated indoor swimming pool, launderette, take away and children's play area. And it even has it's own amusement arcade, pool tables etc. So although children are welcome in the club house, if they get bored of the entertainment here, you will know they are safe in the next building playing games etc. The club is available completely free for all the family & the indoor pool is available at a small entrance fee from MAY 23rd to September 15th. The Bermuda park is only a ten minute walk from a golden sandy beach and other attractions at the top end of Newport Road, or cut through to beach road Hemsby and enjoy all the amenities it offers from fair-ground rides, high tech amusement arcades, souvenir shops, restaurants etc. Gt Yarmouth is only 5 miles away, a comfortable ten minute drive or alternatively, a regular and frequent bus service is available just across the road from the park entrance.
We now have a mini market on site for all your provisions and daily paper however very close by to the Park(no more than a 5 minute walk from the site entrance) there is a mini supermarket(Londis)at the Esso garage where you will be able to get all your provisions including milk & papers. For a more comprehensive shop Tesco's is only 4 miles away at Caister.
In the main village of Hemsby which again is only a ten minute walk, there are more facilities available such as a SPA market which includes a cash point for convenience a prescribing chemist and ladies hairdressers.
Take-away outlets include Chinese, Pizza and fish & chips. Hemsby, boasts a modern medical center where both doctors and dentists reside. The main post office in Hemsby handles all types of transactions which again has a mini supermarket and you can also obtain your lottery tickets from here as well as the spa supermarket already mentioned above.
The main church in Hemsby is Church of England, St Mary the Virgin, however they cater for different types of religion. Hemsby village has two Public Houses which both offer A la carte meals and some entertainment in very comfortable surroundings.
Electricity at Bermuda is by pre-payment cards either £1 or £5 which can be obtained from various outlets on the park.
